The Pale Blue Dot and The Book.

Several years ago I wrote the first part of my book – Counted Days. This happened during the summer of 2007 which I spent at the Ukrainian seaside.

Originally written as a science fiction novel, now I am in the process of rethinking the script and perhaps in the coming months it will be transformed into a more philosophical piece of literature. Carl Sagan’s “Pale Blue Dot” speech at Cornell University (1994) was, and still is, a major inspiration in my life.

As of now, I am giving you the original cover of the book.

Transdisciplinarity.

Sometimes it is even surprising how often we create a great barrier between the humanities and the social sciences on one hand, and science and engineering on the other.
